I'm new to this site. A little about myself: I'm 54 (55 in July), was born in Arkansas but raised in Colorado, and have lived in Albuquerque, NM for three years now (sure picked a doozey of a town to live in huh? took awhile to get used to spelling it!) I have never been a horse rider but feel a kinship to those like yourself who do. I couldn't ride now even if I wanted to-I have degenerative disc disease and a bad case of arthritis in my lower back. Well, like Bette Davis said, "Gettin' old ain't for sissies." I LOVE LOVE LOVE Patsy Cline!! And Dolly Parton, and Loretta Lynn, and Willie Nelson. I can listen to my Patsy Cline music all day every day (though I don't listen to it THAT much-other stuff to do you know). I'm an ovarian cancer survivor (a year and a half cancer free now)and it taught me the meaning of the saying "cowgirl up."
