Hi Thea. I’m new to this site. A little about myself: I’m 54 (55 in July), was born in Arkansas but raised in Colorado, and have lived in Albuquerque, NM for three years now (sure picked a doozey of a town to live in huh? took awhile to get used to spelling it!) I have never been a horse rider but feel a kinship to those like yourself who do. I couldn’t ride now even if I wanted to-I have degenerative disc disease and a bad case of arthritis in my lower back. Well, like Bette Davis said, “Gettin’ old ain’t for sissies.”
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Patsy Cline!! And Dolly Parton, and Loretta Lynn, and Willie Nelson. I can listen to my Patsy Cline music all day every day (though I don’t listen to it THAT much-other stuff to do you know). I’m an ovarian cancer survivor (a year and a half cancer free now)and it taught me the meaning of the saying
“cowgirl up.” I’m convinced God gave me another chance for whatever His reason and I’m grateful. Got me to start praying again! That’s good!
