The two of us are sitting at the kitchen table “working” on our respective laptops.  I’m catching up on some blog reading and click on the video of The Pioneer Woman’s appearnace on Good Morning America. 

Him: “Who is that talking?”

Me:  “Robin Roberts”

Him:  Makes a disgusted face (he has something against Robin Roberts, she annoys him for some weird reason – but that’s beside the point ). “What are you watching?”

Me: “A clip from when the Pioneer Woman was on Good Morning America.”

Him: “The who?”

Me: “Here just look…”

We both are watching the clip. The Pioneer Woman is being so adorable – and cooking with her hands which makes me smile because I’m always doing this. 

Me:  “Wow, her blog gets 4 million visitors a month!?”

Him:  “You jealous?”

Me:  “Yeah, a little … that’s awesome!”

Him:  Looks back at the clip.  “I bet she’s not handy.”

Me:  “Huh?”

Him:  “I bet she’s not a hand.  Like, I bet she wasn’t out checking heifers in the wind and hail and stuff today.  You can cook a post roast and you’re a good hand, baby.”  Then, goes back to reading his predator hunting forum.

And that’s just one more reason why I love my cowboy!
